With Summer activities and travel underway, we will skip the committee meeting for July but return a little later in August (18th), once school is back in session, to have our big annual planning meeting.  During that meeting, we will take a longer term view on the troop to make sure we are aligned around needs and direction.

During next week's troop meeting, we will conduct our June committee meeting in the back room of the ministry building.  All parents and adult leaders are welcome to join.

Hello Troop 848 Families!   Our Spring 2024 ButterBraid fundraiser is LIVE!  Troop 848 scouts have the opportunity to sell delicious pastries this spring to help fund their scouting adventures.  Scouts who participate will earn 40% commission of their sales (~$6.40 per ButterBraid item sold).  ButterBraid pastries come in a variety of flavors and are delivered frozen and individually packaged.  They can be stored in the freezer until ready to prepare.   

In preparation for Summer Camp, please start thinking about which class options you'd like to take.  You can read details about the classes available at TRJ here and then complete this form to make your class selections. To help you plan your activities, please see the attached schedule which outlines how various classes are presented Monday - Thursday of our week at camp.   Please note that some classes have age restrictions, gear requirements and fees that will need to be collected separately from your standard camp registration fees.

Due to scheduling conflicts, we will need to cancel the March Committee Meeting.  We will pick back up this meeting in April.

International Women’s Day Celebration will be 5-7pm on March 3rd. It will be celebrating women of all cultures and Scouts and Mothers are welcome to dress in cultural clothing. If Scouts/Parents are interested please text Claudia Hayashi at (978) 810-1024. There will be a sign up for bringing pot luck foods and games will be provided.
