Hello Troop 848 Family,

        We will have a FULL meeting on Thursday and hope everyone can come and participate.  We will have an opportunity for scouts to take their tenderfoot fitness test before the meeting.  If you want to participate, come in your running attire and class b t-shirt and bring your water bottle.  We will meet at 6:15 and conduct the run, situps, pushups, and sit-and reach.  If you are completing your tenderfoot fitness requirements, please bring your fitness log to show your progress. 

Hello Troop 848 family!

           We will have 10 scouts and 2 adults participating in the Monster Triathlon or Kids Triathlon on October 11th and 12th.  If you are not currently participating in the merit badge, we would like to invite you to come out and be on the official cheering team, or to participate in the race yourself!  The event organizers have shared a discount code of darscout15 for scouts, parents, and family members NOT participating in our merit badge scouts to get 15% off race entry.

This week's meeting will be our Court of Honor, which will begin at 7 p.m. in the FUMC Sanctuary (420 S. Heartz Rd, Coppell - enter through the Stringfellow school entrance).  Scouts should wear their complete Class A uniform for the event, consisting of Scout class A shirt, troop neckerchief, Scout pants, Scout socks, Scout belt, and closed toed shoes.  Our new PLC should arrive by 6:30 to help set up and rehearse.  Refreshments will be served in the rotunda following.  Please sign up for any remaining slots at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0D4BA5A62BA7FCC61-58307463-troop/8035059#/.  We look forward to celebrating our scouts and all their ranks, merit badges, and other awards earned over the past four months.
